Bruce Rainnie is the host of CBC Prince Edward Island's Compass, the highest rated supperhour news program in Canada. Bruce is also know nationally for his work with CBC Sports. Along with being a regular cast member on Hockey Night in Canada, he has been the voice of curling, tennis, and showjumping on CBC for almost a decade. He has broadcast five Olympic Games and most recently had the honour of calling the 2008 Gold Medal performance of Canadian Showjumper Eric Lamaze in Hong Kong. In March of 2004, he researched, co-produced, and hosted Great Expectations, a documentary on Sidney Crosby. As a public speaker, Bruce's quick wit, thoughtful insights, and humorous, engaging style have entertained audiences all across Atlantic Canada. Bruce lives in Charlottetown, PEI with his wife, award-winning musician Kendra MacGillivray, and their two sons, Mark and Alistair.
